We've now completed 4 successful Kickstarter campaigns and the main thing I've noticed - social media has played NO meaningful part in our success. In fact, our most recent crowdfunded comic raised $23,000 and only 3% came from external referrers like social media. 96% of that money was from people who found it directly on the crowdfunding platform...for me, the social media fruit ain't worth the squeeze. So I'm gonna do things old school. Everything is going to be on my website. Instagram posts will now be regular posts to my blog, right here on the website.
